Each year over Memorial Day, with the help of the city of Draguignan, we fly over the relatives of one of the soldiers buried at the Rhone American Cemetery and Memorial. The visit last three days affording them some time for site seeing as well.

Blessings followed by a wreath laying take place at the Cemetery.  Along with the family members are present a representative of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe, the American Consul from Marseille and various French civic dignitaries. They all join in this day of solemn remembrance of the losses and sacrifices endured.

The SFA action is made entirely possible by our members' contributions to help keep alive the memory of the soldiers and their sacrifice. All of us are volunteers, the funds are used to defray the family's flight and stay.

Join us to keep alive the memory and the French American friendship

THANK YOU
